Business Email on Your Domain,
Managed and Maintained for You

MainStreetDNS provides email hosting for businesses that need professional, reliable email on their own domain name. Spam filtering, webmail, and IMAP/POP access are included on every account. Predictable monthly pricing with no per-seat surprises.

What Email Hosting Is and Why It Matters

Email hosting is the service that receives, stores, and sends email on behalf of your domain name. When a customer sends a message to you@yourbusiness.com, the email hosting server is what accepts that message and makes it available in your inbox. When you reply, the hosting server sends your response.

If your email hosting is unreliable, messages can be delayed, bounced, or lost. If your email server has a poor reputation, your outgoing messages may land in your customers' spam folders instead of their inboxes. If your provider changes pricing unpredictably, a basic business expense becomes a recurring source of uncertainty.

MainStreetDNS email hosting is built for businesses that depend on email for daily operations — customer inquiries, invoices, appointment confirmations, and routine correspondence. We manage the mail servers, maintain spam filtering, handle security updates, and keep the service running so that email works without requiring your ongoing attention.

Your business email is part of how customers perceive your professionalism and reliability. We treat the responsibility of handling it accordingly.

What Every Email Hosting Account Includes

Core capabilities on every plan. No add-on charges for the features your business email depends on.

Reliable Message Delivery

Our mail servers are configured with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records to support consistent inbox placement. We maintain server reputation actively so that messages sent from your domain are treated as legitimate by receiving mail systems.

Spam and Virus Filtering

Inbound email passes through multi-layer spam filtering and virus scanning before reaching your inbox. Filters are updated continuously. You can adjust sensitivity and manage quarantined messages through the control panel.

Webmail, IMAP, and POP Access

Check email from any browser through webmail, or connect your preferred email application using standard IMAP or POP protocols. All three access methods are included on every account with no additional configuration fees.

Predictable Monthly Pricing

Email plans are priced per mailbox at a flat monthly rate. There are no introductory discounts that increase at renewal, no bundled storage upsells, and no hidden fees. If pricing changes, you are notified 60 days in advance.

Your Domain, Your Address

Every email account uses your business domain name. You control how many mailboxes exist, what the addresses are, and how forwarding and aliases are configured. Your email identity stays with your business, not with the provider.

Long-Term Continuity

MainStreetDNS has operated continuously since 1996. We do not discontinue services, pivot to new product lines, or force migrations to replacement platforms. The email service you set up today is the same service that will be running next year.

Deliverability and Safety, Addressed Directly

Email hosting carries specific concerns that matter to every business. Here is how we handle them.

Will My Emails Reach Inboxes?

We configure SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records for every domain we host. Our IP ranges are actively monitored and maintained on reputable blocklist-free status. We do not allow bulk or unsolicited email on our servers, which protects the sending reputation of every account holder.

What If I Lose a Message?

Email data is stored on redundant systems and backed up daily. If a message is accidentally deleted, our support team can assist with recovery from recent backups. We recommend that businesses also maintain local copies through an IMAP or POP client as a standard precaution.

How Is My Email Secured?

All connections to our mail servers use TLS encryption in transit. Server-level firewalls and intrusion detection systems run continuously. Authentication is required for sending, which prevents unauthorized use of your domain for outbound email.

For Technical Helpers and Agencies

If you configure or manage email on behalf of a client, here is what to expect from MainStreetDNS email hosting.

DNS and Authentication Records

We provide the exact MX, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records required for each hosted domain. Records are documented in the account control panel and in our support library. If the domain's DNS is hosted elsewhere, the records are formatted for direct entry.

Predictable Server Behavior

Our mail servers use standard IMAP, POP3, and SMTP protocols with published ports and TLS requirements. There are no proprietary connectors, no custom sync protocols, and no platform-specific dependencies. Standard mail clients connect without modification.

Documentation Available

Technical documentation — including server addresses, port numbers, authentication methods, DNS record templates, and mailbox configuration limits — is published in our support library and kept current with each platform update.

No Over-Promising

We state what our email hosting does and does not include. We do not offer calendar sync, contact sync, or productivity suite integration. If a capability has limits — mailbox size, send rate, attachment size — the limits are published.

What to Expect From Support

Support requests are handled by our US-based team during business hours, Monday through Friday. All requests submitted outside of business hours are reviewed first thing the following business day. Emergency mail server issues are monitored around the clock.

You can reach support by email or by submitting a ticket through the control panel. We respond to most requests within four business hours. If an issue requires more time, we will tell you when to expect an update rather than leave the request open without communication.

Our email support scope covers mailbox creation, password resets, DNS record configuration, spam filter adjustment, forwarding and alias setup, and client connection troubleshooting. We do not provide support for third-party email applications beyond confirming that our server settings are correctly entered.

There is no tiered support system. Every account holder reaches the same team, receives the same response priority, and gets the same level of attention regardless of the number of mailboxes on the account.
